Ryanair is strengthening its position in Morocco
The airline company Ryanairin partnership with the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT), launched a new base in Tangier on Tuesday, its fourth in Morocco. It was in the presence of the Minister of Tourism, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, representatives of local authorities and tourism professionals.
Ryanair will open 13 new routes from its new base in Tangier to 5 Moroccan and 8 European cities as part of its 2024 summer schedule. This new base for the Irish low-cost airline in Tangier, its fourth in Morocco after Fez, Marrakech and Agadir, required an investment of 200 million dollars and enabled the creation of 600 jobs.
