Ryanair dominates Royal Air Maroc
The Irish low-cost Ryanair has contributed significantly to the significant development of the air transport market between Morocco and Europe, ahead of the national airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM).
From 2019 to 2024, the air transport seat capacity between Morocco and Europe increased by 36.3%. A positive result for the airlines that operate flights between the kingdom and the European continent. With 9,839,356 seats, an increase of 96.7% compared to 2019, the Irish low-cost Ryanair tops the ranking. It is followed by Royal Air Maroc (RAM). The latter offered a capacity of 4,846,852 seats, which represents a slight decrease of 3% compared to 2019. Air Arabia Maroc takes third place with a capacity of 3,186,444 seats, recording a notable growth of 26.4%.
