Robbery of the Milleis bank in Paris: a suspect on the run in Morocco sentenced
Involved in the robbery of the Milleis bank located at the Champs-Élysées roundabout (8th arrondissement) in January 2019, a man on the run in Morocco was convicted in absentia by the Paris judicial court.
The verdict came last Thursday. The Paris judicial court sentenced Hicham E. to seven years in prison compared to the 9-year sentence requested against him, reports The Parisian. Targeted by an international arrest warrant, he is the “colleague” of Alexandre A., 41, a repeat robber nicknamed “He-Man”, the only one to appear detained. Hicham is considered “the central element” by the prosecutor. “Where have the millions gone? I would say that they are in Morocco with Hicham,” said the representative of the prosecution, on the basis of investigative elements. The loot from the 68 forced chests is estimated, at least, at around ten million euros.
