Roads, tunnels… the North of Morocco is transforming
The Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region is transforming before hosting the African Cup of Nations (CAN) and Morocco’s co-organization of the World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal. This is evidenced by the road infrastructure currently being built.
The modernization of road infrastructure is underway in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region. Among them, the finalization of a road interchange of more than two kilometers between the industrial zone of Mghogha and the entrance to Mechlaoua, on this busy road linking Tangier to Tetouan, a U-turn ramp. The entry into service of this ramp has considerably eased traffic on the eastern entrance to the city of Tangier, coming from Tetouan. The facelift of this axis follows the establishment of a new signaling system and the commissioning of a surveillance system in Tangier.
