“Road to Death”: Young Moroccans Risk Everything to Reach Ceuta

The government of Aziz Akhannouch is criticized for its “failure” in building a social state following the attempt by hundreds of young people and children to enter the city of Sebta.

Hundreds of young people and children tried, on the night of Saturday, September 14, 2024, to head towards the city of Sebta. They “took the path of death after losing patience with poverty, unemployment and marginalization, with the persistence of anti-social policies, which only impoverish the poor and enrich the rich,” said Fatima Tamni, parliamentary deputy of the Federation of the Democratic Left (FGD), in a written question addressed to the head of government, Aziz Akhannouch.
