Riyad Mahrez’s wife wore a Moroccan caftan

Taylor Ward, the wife of Algerian international Riyad Mahrez, has confirmed that she wore a Moroccan caftan during the celebration of their third wedding anniversary on July 2, putting an end to the controversy raised by certain Algerian media which had attributed an Algerian origin to the garment.

“I want to thank the talented Moroccan designer Salma Benomar for creating these beautiful garments for my family and I. Thank you for making our celebration so special and for your incredible efforts,” Taylor clarified in a post on her Instagram account, accompanied by photos of herself with her husband and their children in traditional Moroccan outfits.
