Risk of cancellation of flights between Morocco and France

Many flights between Morocco and France are at risk of being cancelled on Wednesday due to a strike at Paris airports.

Major disruptions at French airports. Four unions of the airport manager Groupe ADP are going on strike this Wednesday, July 17, 2024. At the origin of these walkouts, the “deterioration of working conditions” and the “unilateral” decision of the group’s CEO, Augustin de Romanet, to “pay a bonus only to some of the staff”, reports franceinfo. These unions are demanding in particular a “bonus for all staff”, a “massive” hiring plan of 1,000 positions and the guarantee of being able to take days off during all the Olympic and Paralympic events. The CGT, CFDT, FO and UNSA are demanding compensation that concerns “all staff”. These unions are convinced that “the company has the resources to respond to the legitimate demands of employees and their representatives”. They also mention “comfortable dividends for shareholders”.
