Real estate scandal in Tetouan

In Tetouan, the land mafia reigns supreme, denounces the Human Rights Observatory, which calls for an end to the impunity of officials who expropriate state property and the properties of others.

The Observatory calls on the competent authorities to initiate legal proceedings against the perpetrators of real estate fraud in the city of Tetouan in order to put an end to this phenomenon which is taking on alarming proportions. In a press release, it condemns the dismissal without further action of its complaint filed with the city prosecutor’s office to denounce, with supporting evidence, an illegal expropriation of state property in which elected officials, notaries and public officials are involved.
