Real estate prices in Marrakech increased by 20% on average last summer. This is due to the strong demand from Moroccans living abroad (MRE) and foreigners, particularly the French.
The pronounced interest of Moroccans living abroad (MRE) and particularly in France and the Netherlands for real estate in Marrakech (studios, apartments and villas), has led to a sharp increase in prices. Ordinary housing prices have reached more than 400,000 dirhams, even in rural areas.
