Rapper Weld Aicha banned from leaving Morocco

Arrested and taken into custody for his alleged involvement in a cocaine trafficking case, singer Weld Aicha was granted conditional release on Saturday. He is prohibited from leaving the country until the end of the investigation.

The prosecution of the Tangier Court of First Instance has decided to provisionally release the artist, arrested on the basis of a national search warrant issued against him by the Tangier police prefecture for his alleged involvement in a cocaine trafficking case. The accused cannot leave the national territory until the end of the ongoing investigation.
