Rape of a French woman in Casablanca: the three suspects in custody
The investigating judge at the Casablanca Court of Appeal on Saturday ordered the placement in preventive detention of the three people, accused of raping a French lawyer and assault and battery on her Moroccan companion.
After 72 hours in police custody, the three accused, Kamil Bennis, M’hammed Alj and Saad Slaoui, were brought before the King’s Attorney General at the Casablanca Court of Appeal on Saturday who decided to transmit the case to an investigating judge so that an investigation can be opened for rape, kidnapping and violence, assault and battery, and use of narcotics. Pending the results of the investigation, the three suspects were placed in preventive detention at Oukacha prison, reports Le360.
