Rabat: InDrive driver arrested for assaulting a YouTuber

Police arrested an InDrive driver in Rabat for insults and threats of violence and placed him in custody. He was the subject of a complaint filed by a YouTuber.

In a statement, the Rabat police services indicated that they had “quickly” responded to the complaint of insults and physical threats and to the video published on Instagram by the YouTuber Fatima Zahra Askri in which she recounts how she was threatened by an InDrive driver, who allegedly took her to an isolated location. She accuses him of having assaulted her and of having tried to rape her. A horrible situation from which she narrowly escaped on July 11. The police managed to identify and arrest her alleged attacker. The accused was taken into custody and made available to the ongoing judicial investigation, to elucidate this case.
