Qatari royal family builds hospital in Morocco

A Qatari hospital will soon be built in Boujdour, Morocco, and will be named after the former Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa, father of the current Emir.

A Qatari hospital in Morocco? Following the request for the construction of the new hospital submitted by the International Organization for the Conservation of Wildlife, Plants and the Environment, chaired by Qataris and headquartered in Boujdour, the president of the commune of Boujdour recently signed a building permit, reports the site Rue20. This hospital will be named after the former Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa, father of the current Emir. The document signed on August 5 specifies that the municipality office received the application on July 15, 2024 on an unregistered plot of land and demanded that permit applicants pay tax fees set at 103,800 dirhams.
