Polisario caught red-handed in deception

Although it was not invited to the 9th edition of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD), reserved like other similar meetings for UN member countries and which opens this Saturday, the Polisario, in complicity with Algeria, arrived in Japan and used subterfuge to enter the preparatory meeting.

Japan has not officially invited the Polisario to participate in the 9th edition of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD). But members of the independence movement arrived in the country with Algerian diplomatic passports and entered the meeting room where the preparatory meeting is taking place on Friday with badges of the Algerian delegation. One of them “opened his briefcase and took out a plaque marked ‘Sahrawi Republic’ which he placed on the table between the delegations of Zambia and Zimbabwe. A plaque different from those prepared by Japan for the UN member countries invited to this meeting. This deception prompted the reaction of a senior Japanese official: “The presence of this entity in no way signifies recognition” and Japan “does not recognize this entity”. Japan has always reiterated its support for Morocco.
