Paris Olympics: How Morocco can qualify for the round of 16

Morocco finds itself in a delicate situation in Group B at the Paris Olympics. Tarik Sektiouti’s team has three points, tied with Iraq, Ukraine and Argentina. In such a context, all scenarios are possible. Qualification for the round of 16 is not a given.

While Morocco beat Argentina by 2 goals to 1, it lost to Ukraine (1-2). Iraq, for its part, conceded a defeat against Argentina (1-3) after a victory over Ukraine (2-1). The four teams in Group B are tied with three points and will necessarily have to win their match on the third day to continue the Olympic tournament. All scenarios are therefore possible.
