Owning a car: a luxury for many Moroccans

Moroccans are slowly owning a vehicle while the automobile sector in Morocco is booming. This is what a recent survey by Sunergia in collaboration with the Economist reveals.

According to the results of this survey which reveals important aspects of the automobile sector in Morocco, by exploring motorization, maintenance and household purchasing intentions, 70% of Moroccan households do not own a car. Of the remaining 30% who own one, 25% have one vehicle, 4% have two and only a very small minority, 1%, own three or more vehicles.
