Oujda imposes a color, and not everyone likes it
A new regulation concerning the exterior appearance of buildings in the city of Oujda makes one cringe. The Municipal Council is due to meet next Thursday to examine a decision imposing a single color for the facades of buildings, with painting costs being the responsibility of residents.
The decision provides that all buildings, whether residential, commercial or public, must display a cream or beige color. The doors and windows must also be painted in prescribed shades, gray and brown respectively.
