Osame Sahraoui, the new face of the Atlas Lions

Walid RegraguiThe Atlas Lions coach is proud of Lille striker Osame Sahraoui, who turned his back on Norway and chose to defend the colours of the Moroccan flag. He could line him up for future matches.

“As for the Sahrawi player, I have been following him for some time,” replied Walid Regragui when asked about the Lille striker’s case during the pre-match press conference against Lesotho. He is delighted with his change of sporting nationality: “He chose Morocco over Norway, and he could be with us in the future. He will play this season in the Champions League with Lille, which will give us an opportunity to follow him more closely.”
