Ordinary hero: Moroccan saves policewoman violently attacked in Italy

In Italy, officials in the city of Ferrara have praised a young Moroccan for his “heroic” intervention in saving a policewoman who was physically attacked during a routine check.

The incident took place last Tuesday in Ferrara. A man violently attacked a policewoman who warned him not to wash in a fountain in the park. Furious, he threw her to the ground and continued to hit her. Immediately after, Abdallah, a Moroccan living in Italy, intervened to help the police officer. Thanks to his intervention, the police arrived on the scene in time and prevented the worst.
