One of the world’s largest tin deposits discovered in Morocco

The Achmmach tin deposit, near Meknes, is one of the largest unexploited deposits in the world. This is evidenced by the latest update published by the company Atlantic Tin Ltd., specializing in the exploration and development of tin, revealing a significant increase in the estimate of resources allocated to this project.

Carried out by the independent firm Cube Consulting according to Australian JORC standards (2012), the latest evaluation of the Achmmach project shows an upward revision of total resources to 39.1 million tonnes (Mt) of ore, with an average grade of 0.55% tin, representing 213,000 tonnes of contained tin, an increase of 33% from the 2021 assessment.
