Olive oil: soaring prices sow concern in Morocco

The price of olive oil has reached record levels in Morocco. This upward trend could continue in the coming months, which worries a member of parliament who has questioned the government on this subject.

In a question addressed to the Minister of Agriculture, Fatima Tamni indicated that the price of olive oil has reached 150 dirhams per liter, asking what measures he intends to take to stop the surge in the price of olive oil, a product widely consumed by Moroccans.
