Noussair Mazraoui was on the verge of joining the Hammers after a £16.4m deal was agreed, but his move fell through. The reason for the failure was allegedly the personal terms that could not be negotiated between the Premier League side and the Moroccan right-back’s agent. “Noussair #Mazraoui’s deal with West Ham is cancelled! No agreement has been reached on the agents’ side. Despite the agreement between the clubs (15.5 + 4) and on the players’ side, West Ham have now left the negotiations,” journalist Florian Plettenber confirmed in a post on X.
