News for the Nigeria-Morocco gas pipeline

The Nigeria-Morocco gas pipeline is expected to see a major turning point in the coming months. The two countries are reportedly planning to sign a multilateral agreement within the framework of this project by next December.

Amina Benkhadra, Director General of the National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mines (ONHYM) of Morocco, announced Saturday the upcoming signing of a multilateral agreement on the Nigeria-Morocco gas pipeline project. This agreement “should be initialed before the end of the current year,” said the official, on the sidelines of the Youth University of the National Rally of Independents (RNI) in Agadir.
