New train lines in northern Morocco

The National Railways Office (ONCF) is moving forward with the Tangier-Tetouan railway line project. The feasibility study for the project has just been awarded to a Moroccan company.

The Moroccan design office Innov Engineering has won the contract to prepare the study of the project, reports Rue20This new line will not only facilitate the movement of travelers between Moroccan cities in addition to connecting them to the Tangier Med port station, currently used only for the transport of cars, but it will also strengthen the connection of the cities of M’diq, Fnideq, Cabo Negro, as well as the luxury hotel complexes that have opened their doors in the coastal tourist area, with the airports of Tangier, Tetouan, and the port of Tangier Med.
