New TGV line in Morocco: Chinese companies in force
The high-speed line (LGV) project linking Kenitra to Marrakech is progressing rapidly. The Chinese company China Gezhouba has just won the contract to carry out the work on the ninth section, worth 2.3 billion dirhams. This section includes the construction of several bridges between Kenitra and Casablanca.
This new contract confirms the strong presence of Chinese companies in this major project. Indeed, Beijing won the majority of calls for tenders launched by Morocco.
