New tensions between Spain and Morocco?

For several weeks, Morocco has avoided collaborating with Spain in rescue missions off the Canary Islands and near the waters of the Sahara.

Sources from the Spanish maritime rescue services told Ok Diario that Morocco ignored calls for help from an Italian sailor suffering from a serious health problem in the waters near the port of Dakhla this week, forcing Spanish authorities to deploy a military helicopter to the area to rescue the victim.
