New hoppers in Tangier

In view of the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2025) and the 2030 World Cup that Morocco is preparing to host, new hoppers will be built in Tangier to facilitate the movement of residents and tourists.

Two new underground passages will be built near the large stadium of Tangier. This involves the construction of a hopper at the level of Moulay Rachid Avenue, north of the stadium, and the construction of a 1000 m long tunnel on Royal Army Avenue, south of the stadium. The project also includes the improvement of the surrounding infrastructure of the stadium to meet international standards and ensure a smooth flow of traffic during championship periods.
