New food poisoning in Morocco: 27 people in hospital
A fast food restaurant in Martil was the cause of a food poisoning large-scale outbreak this week. More than 27 people have been affected, showing symptoms including vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain just hours after eating.
The victims were treated in two health facilities: the public hospital in Martil received 21 of them, while the others were treated in a private clinic in Tetouan. While most were able to return home after treatment, some are still hospitalized in Tetouan.
