Since 2021, Morocco has shown its interest in drones. The kingdom has acquired various models from China, Israel and Turkey and is preparing to order new Turkish drones.
Morocco continues to strengthen its defense capabilities and is working to modernize its drone fleet for greater effectiveness and efficiency in intelligence, surveillance and combat missions. Since 2021, Morocco has acquired several drones, including the Bayraktar TB2 from the Turkish company Baykar, and is now reportedly interested in the Bayraktar Kizilelma, with supersonic capabilities and stealth characteristics, and the Bayraktar TB3.
