MREs praise the Moroccan government’s housing assistance program
The housing assistance program is successful with Moroccans living abroad (MRE). Of more than 110,000 requests registered, nearly a quarter, or 26% of the total, come from the Moroccan diaspora.
In her intervention Monday, during the oral questions session in the House of Representatives, Fatima Zahra El Mansouri, the Minister of Territorial Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and Urban Policy, revealed that more than 35,000 Moroccans and MRE have already benefited from this program launched by the government in January 2024 to meet the needs of the middle class and people with limited income.
