MREs invited to declare their assets abroad

The Foreign Exchange Office has launched an “awareness and awareness mission for the benefit of foreign banks”, in order to ensure the success of the automatic regularization operation of the property and assets of Moroccans and Moroccans residing abroad ( MRE) abroad.

This mission “particularly targets Moroccan citizens concerned by the operation, not only those residing abroad, but also those residing in Morocco and having financial assets, properties or assets located abroad,” explains a source of the Foreign Exchange Office from Hespressspecifying that “the declaration and automatic regularization accelerate during the last three months of each year”, which pushed the Bureau des Changes to intensify its awareness-raising efforts.
