MREs criticize poor reception

A Moroccan resident in Switzerland denounces the bad practices of a company specializing in maritime transport, which monopolizes the maritime link between the port of Tangier and Marseille in France, GNV not to name it. Not to mention the high cost of boat tickets and the mistreatment reserved for Moroccans residing abroad (MRE).

Chakir H., a Moroccan living in Switzerland, is indignant at Kech24 bad practices of a company specializing in maritime transport, which monopolizes the maritime link between the port of Tangier and Marseille in France. Thus, he deplores the lack of choice for those who wish to travel without intervention from the Moroccan authorities, in the absence of competition between the lines. In addition to the monopoly, the MRE also suffers from the surge in boat tickets. “The return of a large number of members of the Moroccan community to the country continues to encounter several obstacles, first and foremost the high cost of maritime transport tickets and the poor reception of passengers,” Chakir said. According to him, the suffering of the MRE, who do not fail to increase their financial transfers, persists in the absence of practical solutions proposed by the Ministry of Transport and Logistics to resolve the crisis of high ticket prices and the monopoly of certain companies on transport routes.
