The shipping company GNV has cancelled its lines to Morocco at the last minute, sparking anger among Moroccans in Europe who chose to reach Morocco by sea this summer as part of Operation Marhaba.
GNV has cancelled its Barcelona to Tangier and Nador connections, much to the dismay of Moroccans in Europe who want to return to Morocco by sea as part of Operation Marhaba. Less than a week before the departure date, the shipping company informed passengers by email of the cancellation of the crossings, while some had bought their tickets five or six months earlier.
