MRE retirees: how to obtain the 90% reduction at customs?

Moroccans residing abroad (MRE) aged 60 and over can still benefit from a substantial reduction of 90% on customs duties when importing a passenger vehicle into Morocco.

However, the granting of this advantage is subject to strict conditions. In particular, you must have at least ten years of effective residence abroad and not have been a resident in Morocco in the past. In addition, this reduction only concerns passenger vehicles (category 87.03 of the Harmonized System) equipped with a gasoline, diesel or hybrid engine, designed to transport a maximum of nine people (driver included) and approved for circulation.
