MRE: how to repatriate your car in the event of an unforeseen event?

The Temporary Admission (AT) regime allows Moroccans Residing Abroad (MRE) to temporarily import their vehicle into Morocco. Unforeseen situations may prevent the owner from re-exporting his vehicle himself. Moroccan customs has put in place procedures to deal with these situations.
If the owner of the vehicle is unable to re-export it, he can request authorization from the nearest customs office. This authorization allows a third person to drive the vehicle outside Morocco, even if they do not meet the conditions to benefit from the AT.
