MREs arrested in Tanger Med with gold bars

Two men were arrested on Sunday evening at the port of Tanger Med while trying to smuggle 23 kg of gold into Morocco.

Aged 52 and 73, the suspects, both Moroccan nationals, were traveling in a car registered in Germany. The discovery was made during a joint check carried out by the National Security and the customs services.
