Morocco will repatriate unaccompanied minors to France
On the sidelines of the official visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Morocco, Abdelouafi Laftit, Minister of the Interior, spoke with his French counterpart Bruno Retailleau. The two officials discussed several subjects including the repatriation of unaccompanied Moroccan minors found on French territory.
Morocco is preparing to repatriate unaccompanied minors (UMAs) to France. During a press briefing at the end of his talks with the French Minister of the Interior, Bruno Retailleau, Abdelouafi Laftit indicated that he and his counterpart discussed issues of common interest and ways to further strengthen cooperation, in accordance with the ambitions and aspirations of King Mohammed VI and the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, for an “exceptional reinforced partnership”.
