Morocco will host the biggest football competitions by 2030

Morocco is preparing to host a series of major football events in the coming years. This was announced by Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate for the Budget, during a session in the House of Representatives devoted to the 2025 finance bill.

On the program for this busy calendar: the men’s African Cup of Nations in 2025, five editions of the Under-17 Women’s World Cup from 2025, the final of the Women’s African Champions League in 2024, the African Women’s Cup of Nations in 2026, the Futsal World Cup in 2028, the Club World Cup in 2029 and, the icing on the cake, the 2030 World Cup.
