Morocco welcomes ship carrying weapons for Israel, Spain refuses

Morocco authorized the Maersk Denver, an Israeli container ship transporting weapons from the United States, to call at the port of Tangier Med 2. The Israeli ship had been refused a call at Algeciras.

After the refusal of the Spanish authorities to authorize the Maersk Denver to make a stopover at the Juan Carlos I terminal of APM at the port of Algeciras on Saturday, the Israeli ship docked on Friday at the port of Tanger Med 2 in Morocco, Europa Sur informs. The Maersk Denver departed from the Newark-Elizabeth maritime terminal, between New York and New Jersey, on October 31, specifies the same source.
