Morocco: trapped, two gendarmes arrested for corruption
Two gendarmes from the town of Agdz, in the Zagora region, were arrested and questioned on suspicion of corruption, following a complaint filed by a citizen.
It all started when a man contacted the anti-corruption hotline set up by the Attorney General’s Office, reports Al3omk. His complaint concerned the Agdz gendarmes. The public prosecutor at the Ouarzazate Court of Appeal then entrusted the investigation to the Zagora court prosecutor’s office.
