Morocco, threatened by a tsunami?

Twenty years after tsunami devastating disaster in the Indian Ocean, which cost the lives of nearly 228,000 people, the question of the risk of such an event arises acutely, particularly for Morocco.

A 2021 CSIC (Higher Council for Scientific Research) study claims that Spain has almost a 100% chance of being hit by a tsunami in the next 30 years, and Morocco, located just opposite Spain on the other side of the Alborán Sea, is also threatened.
