Human rights activists and civil society actors are calling to fight the charlatans and sorcerers who have made Tiktok their new workspace where they offer their services. They promise to prosecute them, because their activities are considered an electronic crime along with fraud and scams. They also denounce the methods of promoting their services and their alleged abilities to change people’s lives, including the distribution of ads that sell illusions to their subscribers. Many of them request their services. 86% of Moroccans believe in the existence of jinns, 78% in magic and witchcraft, and 7% look for ways to repel evil and attract luck, specifies the American center “Pew Research Center”.
