Morocco: the taxi mafia imposes its law

Taxi drivers in Casablanca were filmed surrounding a bus carrying female students, preventing them from returning home. This action aimed to force young women to abandon an association transport service in favor of taxis.

A video, widely distributed on social networks, shows a group of taxis blocking a student association bus. The bus transports students between the Médiouna road and their university, located on the El Jadida road, a journey that would otherwise require three changes of public transport lines.
