Morocco: the State tracks down fraudsters

The Minister of the Interior, Abdelouafi Laftit, warned fraudsters from the Unified Social Register who provide false data to the competent services in order to benefit from direct aid of 500 dirhams.

During the presentation of the sectoral budget of his department before the Committee on the Interior, Local Authorities, Housing, Urban Policy and Administrative Affairs of Parliament, Abdelouafi Laftit declared that “certain individuals declare that they do not not own a gas cylinder and do not have electricity, even though they are installed in cities. Others communicate their data via their cell phone but say they do not have a phone,” relays the daily. Al Ahdath Al Maghribia.
