Morocco: the map of regions redrawn

The Moroccan Interior Ministry is considering a new administrative division which could reduce the number of regions from 12 to 9.

This project, which should be adopted before 2027, aims to optimize the efficiency of administration, strengthen cohesion between regions and reduce economic and social disparities.
