Morocco: the DGI adapts sanctions for late payments

Morocco’s Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) has announced a change in penalties for late payment of invoices. And that’s actually good news.

Since December 1, 2024, any invoice not paid on time will be subject to a fine calculated on the basis of Bank Al-Maghrib’s new key rate, i.e. 2.5%.
