Morocco, the black beast of Egypt, anger of the Egyptians

A wave of indignation is currently shaking the Egyptian media over the disappointing performances of their national teams. The Egyptian Football Federation finds itself in turmoil after a series of bitter setbacks against Moroccan teams in different age categories.

The latest snub dates from last Thursday. During the North African Championship (North African Football Union) organized on their soil, the Egyptian under-20s lost 2 to 1 against their Moroccan counterparts. This defeat comes barely 48 hours after a debacle for the under-17s, swept aside 5 goals to 1 by Morocco.
