Morocco: taxi drivers organize themselves

Drivers who do not own taxis in Morocco have just set up a new association in order to better “make their demands known” to the competent authorities in charge of the transport sector.

The constitutive general assembly of this association was held at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Kénitra. It brings together “drivers operating without being taxi owners, holders of the professional card and trust authorization, in parallel with new developments, in particular the multiplication of circulars and memorandums specific to the organization of the sector”, indicates a press release.
