Morocco-Spain: 60 maritime connections per day

Trade relations between Morocco and Spain will explode in 2024, Karima Benyaich, Morocco’s ambassador to Spain, said on Friday, asserting that more than 260 weekly flights and 60 daily maritime connections serve the two countries.

Morocco is Spain’s third trading partner outside the EU after the United States and the United Kingdom, and hosts nearly 1,000 Spanish companies, said Benyaich, during a conference on the theme: “Morocco-Relations Spain: historical keys and current challenges”, organized Friday in Madrid, specifying that these Spanish companies have made investments of 2 billion euros and created nearly 20,000 jobs in strategic sectors of the kingdom.
