Morocco: Six years in prison for the rape of a foreign tourist

The courts have delivered their verdict in the case of the rape of a foreign tourist that occurred in Rabat last November. The two men involved were sentenced to six years in prison.

The main accused, head of a water sports association, was sentenced to four years in prison. His accomplice, who was present during the attack, was sentenced to two years in prison. Both individuals were found guilty of drugging and raping their victim, a young student who was passionate about water sports.
